  • When the going gets tough -the tough get richer
    • ]]>     Funny thing is we all have a job… and whether we are landscaping, building a website or filing taxes… the job can get redundant or boring.

    However, there are always those projects that are stimulating and exciting – and that is typically when it is all about the love.

    Do you love the client?

    Do you love the concept?

    Do you love the ‘idea’?

    Do you love the budget?

    There is something there that you love. For me, I love working with great people that share my compassion and outlook. As I am sure most of you know by my ‘hire me’ page, I don’t take on all clients, because I know that I help most when the ‘L’ word is present.

    Tonight I just got wind of a project that I am so excited about, and I love the client, love the idea, love the prospect and just know I will love the final result.

    Not many people can say that they love what they do, but when it comes to my consulting services I am a fanatic, because I can afford to be picky and choosy and select the projects that I know I will love and thoroughly enjoy working.

    I am ecstatic to be a part of www.emailautoresponderpro.com and I am a user! So stay tuned, there are just so many great things to come in the next week.

    • ]]>     Everyone is discussing the economy. I recently saw someone say on Twitter “Will the Great Depression still be the Great Depression? Or will this one be the Greater Depression”. I had to laugh inside, because these times really are not affecting many web based organizations.

    • Companies are scaling back workforce, so the virtual industry is booming with companies looking for virtual assistants. Traditional brick and mortar companies are looking for contractors available to telecommute so that they don’t have to pay employment taxes, full time staff or office space.
    • When the stock market goes south, money goes into private investments, which means new business start ups need consulting.

    So while all the hype and talk about the Economic Crisis of 2008 is going on… Consultants like myself are too occupied helping the tough get richer.

    Some Examples:

    Trish Lambert of 4R Marketing and Success in Sweatpants just became a ‘Book Yourself Solid’ Certified Coach.

    Now is not the time to get down or stuck in a rut – now is the time to take control of your destiny and stop letting the economic crisis affect you.

    1. Make a list of things you are good at
    2. Make a list of things you enjoy doing
    3. Circle everything that appears on both lists 1 and 2
    4. Begin doing them and getting paid to do them
