Another form of self expression! Yippeee! I am so excited.

I know, I am super corny, but I am always looking for ways to engage with my readers without cluttering my site or blog.

Have you ever seen those sites that have so many forms, banners, polls and things that you don’t know where to start? Then when you do start somewhere you lost where you started off?

I have always tried to keep my site simple and clean, and I put most of my changes and additions on my blog, which I have nicknamed Heather Villa’s Ramblings or on my Resources page where I recommend services and freebies.

However, I just had a huge light bulb moment and said ‘what if I can show my light bulb moments’. Every once and awhile I get a great idea, but it is simple and does not require a huge blog post, so… drum roll…. I have decided to have an ‘Idea of the Week’.

I now have a banner about 3/4 down on my home page that will link you to my idea of the week. Or you can bookmark the URL: http://hireheathervilla.com/idea-of-the-week/, as I add ideas, I will make sure to create an archive of them, so that in case you miss one because you are on vacation or something, you can check it out later!

Also it is available on my main menu under resources

So! My idea of the week is this:

Create your own idea of the week!

• Search engines love new content.
• You always need new materials for your readers and visitors.
• Finding other ways to engage and advise can be tricky

So, give them an idea or a tip of the week. This way something on your website (not just your blog) will be new and fresh weekly!
