WordPressInASecond Special Announcement

On August 1st, Aaron Hoos and I released the ebook How to Generate MORE BUSINESS and HIGHER PROFIT from a WordPress Website. The book walks readers step-by-step through the process of creating a powerful, business-building website using WordPress. It can be a time-consuming and even expensive process but our ebook shows you how to do it easily and affordably.

Prior to the book’s release, customers bought it for the special presale price of $97 and they got the very first look at the book, providing feedback and insight that we used to add new content the book!

As soon as the book was released, the price rose to $197, an introductory price that would last until August 15th.

Well, yesterday was August 15th and I opened up my email and couldn’t believe the response! Orders were flooding in and people were *trying* to sneak in under the wire.

So I called up the co-author and decided to extend the price.

But not for long. This isn’t going to be an extension that lasts forever. We believe that the book is well worth far more than the regular price of $297. But we also recognize that it’s the summer and people are on vacation and not checking their email every day. And for those who worked furiously to get in under the wire, we’re going to make it easy for you: We’ve extended the introductory price of $197 for just a few more days.

On August 20th at 5pm, the price is going up to $297. (And this time, it really is, so no procrastinating!)

So click here to read more and order the book that helps you set up WordPressInASecond today with the extended introductory price!

Cheers!

On Getting Work and MORE Work

A friend of mine just returned from a trip with his family. It was the first time he went on a multi-state trip in his brand new Prius and he came back bragging about the mileage. The last multistate trip I went on was in an SUV (with apologies to the environment) so the difference was, of course, dramatic. My rented SUV guzzled gas and it felt like we were just driving from gas station to gas station to fill the hungry beast.

In comparing mileage notes, it was interesting to think of the parallels with business: The SUV took a massive investment to start and run, and it would only run for a short time before it needed more fuel. Many businesses – especially small businesses and solopreneurs – are like that: They market their business, then do the work, then need to market again for more business.

Finally! August 1st is here… #wpinasec

It is 6:57 am and I have already gotten half a dozen emails asking for the ‘time’ that our How To Generate MORE BUSINESS and HIGHER PROFIT from a Wordpress Website
ebook will be released! I decided to go ahead and put up a blog post with full details.

  • Aaron Hoos and I are putting on the finishing touches right now.
  • Everyone who pre-ordered will get an email within the next hour or two with their free bonuses.
  • The completed version will be released between 12noon and 3pm eastern standard time via email.
  • When we have released the ebook to all who pre-ordered, the $97 special will be deactivated from all websites currently selling How To Generate MORE BUSINESS and HIGHER PROFIT from a Wordpress Website and the after launch special price of $197 will go into effect.

If you have not purchased your copy there is still about 5 hours left to do so at the ‘pre-order’ price of $97.

Great discussion today on #businesslunchclub (on Twitter; but see BusinessLunchClub.com for more details).
The conversation today centered around delegation, and specifically around something that @IAC_Heather calls “the 3 Strikes, You’re Out” rule. The conversation was primarily between @IAC_Heather, @askleo, and myself (@AaronHoos), with @Hazewalker chiming in towards the end.
You can read our entire conversation on BusinessLunchClub (If you’re not reading this on the day it’s posted, go to BusinessLunchClub.com/users/archive and select July 13 from the calendar).

Today’s #bizlunchclub discussion: Automated Prescription Vending

User @kahji asked about Automated Prescription Vending machines on today’s BusinessLunchClub discussion. Great question! It made me think about the pros and cons, and I sent some in a tweet but am expanding on it here.

Pros:

  • Lower cost: Less cost for storage, pharm-techs, etc.
  • Reduced human error: I can’t read those doctor’s prescriptions and I’m not sure that pharmacists can, either.
  • 24/7 service: Assuming that these are in a publicly accessible place 24/7. (Although, in some neighborhoods, that might be a con, not a pro). Click here to read more »

Lunch 2.0 Launched! #BusinessLunchClub, #BizLunchClub, #BLC

Twenty years ago I don’t remember anyone working from home. Now, everywhere I turn someone is working from home – whether it be telecommuting for a corporate job, freelancing, working contract, or just developing their own business.

I won’t lie, while I love working from home – and I dread going into the office (yes, we do have an office) – it is not the same as it was seven years ago when I was climbing the ropes at an accounting firm. I remember most of all the socializing with my co-workers or being able to take clients out to lunch and discuss their situations over a good meal.
