Another great weekend reading lists. Beats the Saturday newspapers!
I really enjoyed Jonathan’s post on cool whip. That was so gross! Luckily I hate the taste of that stuff or anything approaching it. That bombs me out of eating things like frappuccinos – probably no bad thing as I learn now!!
The other post that struck a chord was Why You Should Never Charge Hourly. I’ve been trying to get my head round that model for my coaching work (professional colleagues here typically charge by the hour, but I increasingly think that undermines the value of the exchange), so the article was really useful. Also, I’d never come across Freelance Folder before, so I’ve found a great new resource in the process.

@Christine – With me for hourly it is always a catch 22, right now I am having a good mix of things and leaning towards the ‘flat rate but not to exceed X hours’ to add a bit of protection. The problem is rarely is my work ‘one time’ it is mostly ongoing.
