This idea goes along with the concept that the “rich kid” lacks motivation and does nothing with their life whilst the “poor kid” has to struggle and becomes successful.

In blogging, if we were guaranteed endless comments on all our posts, would we spend time thinking up catchy titles (such as “If you are successful, you suck!”) and crafting great content?
Probably not.

We need a little hardship to help keep us motivated.
