Not that I did not have my own space in previous homes and previously here, but to have it exactly how you want it, with room to stretch your arms or legs and lay out all your documents. Plus when it is in the shades/colors you want and with the technology you want - it encourages you! @Aaron - Don't be jealous! :-) You are welcome to share my desk anytime you want. We still have a bit left to do, but it is getting there! @Karen – I totally agree. Not that I did not have my own space in previous homes and previously here, but to have it exactly how you want it, with room to stretch your arms or legs and lay out all your documents. Your office should be your sanctuary. Your personal place for creativity and productivity. I have had an office at home for more than 15 years, dating back to my time in Corporate. I have always had a dedicated room and enjoyed creating my own work haven with personal touches.
